CG Supervisor for all current productions at Digital Backlot including “There Will Be Blood”, “Evan Almighty”,” The Last Mimzy”,“3:10 To Yuma” and “John Adams” (HBO mini). Responsible for Match moving pipelines, environmental FX pipelines (fire, smoke, water), modeling/ animation activities inc. overseeing contractors’ efforts. Additionally credited as 3D Supervisor for “Fast and The Furious 3: Tokyo Drift.”

10 / 05 – 08 / 06 Digital Domain Los Angeles, CA
Massive Animator for the feature “Flags of Our Fathers” Was responsible for over 80 massive shots including several key invasion sequences and all stadium sequences. Was responsible for the design of the tank, the amphibious tank and the Higgins Landing Boat massive agents as well as configuring hero soldier agents for shore landing and invasion abilities. Coordinated between lighting and water FX teams to ensure massive agents played well with all other elements! A number of invasion shots and agents were subsequently re-used for “Letters from Iwo Jima.”

Lead Character Animator for the TV mini-series “The Triangle.” Developed custom character rigs and dynamics rigs for the show including parametric system for realistic shark animation. Show subsequently won the “Emmy For Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special”.

01 / 05 – 09/ 05 Digital Backlot Los Angeles, CA
3D Lead for “Memoirs of a Geisha” where I was responsible for all of Digital Backlot's match moving and 3d effects work including environmental effects and extensive CG crowd replacement. Our team was subsequently nominated for “Best Supporting Visual Effects” at the Visual Effects Society Awards, 2006. Additional work match moving for the feature “Walk the Line.”

08 / 04 – 12 / 04 Digiscope Los Angeles, CA
3D Artist / Technical Director for the feature film “Racing Stripes.” Responsibilities included modeling, match moving, texturing, lighting. Additionally I designed and implemented a photo-real hair FX pipeline used to replace horsehair on the live talking horse characters.

08 / 03 – 08 / 04 Uncharted Territory / Dreamscape Imagery Los Angeles, CA
3D Technical Lead for projects including "Day After Tomorrow" and "Kingdom in Twilight." For “Day” responsibilities included modeling lead, tracking, match moving, development and implementation of a crowd system including all crowd assets. For “Kingdom” responsible for all crowd visual effects (using Mayhem toolset), advanced technical problem solving, and supplemental 3D effects for many other aspects of production.

Primary occupation was in designing and developing “Mayhem” - a suite of crowd simulation /character animation tools for use in film visual effects (subsequently picked up by Uncharted Territory). Software engineer at this Silicon Valley startup company, developing both an Internet companion and portable display glasses that allowed the user to view 3d video game engines stereo-scopically. Won industry awards for both our eCase and eShades products. Created tailored 3d /2d promo materials and software builds for customers involved in the video game industry such as Nvidia, Nintendo, Apple, Intel and Dell, as well as other major OEM clients including Kodak, HP, and Olympus.

As a senior multimedia developer I created CBT and multimedia applications for clients including London Underground, Barclays Bank, Avis Europe, Camelot, and Deutsch Bank.
