Oversaw the design and execution of the opening and closing shots of the movie ‘Dante’s Peak’. Starting from simple storyboards I researched volcanoes and created animatics that were presented to Universal for approval. I then made selections from daily practical effects footage which then were combined with my matte paintings for the final matte/effects shots. I was also involved in the conceptual development of the ‘Budweiser Lizards’. I also did matte painting on ‘Fifth Element’ and paint fixes for ‘Titanic’.
