Improved legacy 2D pipeline and procedures to increase capacity by three hundred percent with two terabytes of network and fiber storage, tripled processors and authored/edited queue management software. Rebuilt Roto department from one artist to six artists and supervisor. Designed and implemented improved and faster film-to-HD and film-to-video processes including Rec 709 color transformations and automated slate generation.
Added a Digital Image Supervisor position to implement color corrected plates in both 2D and 3D pipelines and oversee and maintain superior image quality. Supervised visual effects, titles, restoration and digital-opticals on more than a dozen feature films. Co-managed initial development of ëPolarisí (internal node-based compositing software).
