Independent
September 2004 – Present

Screen Writing Study – Wrote short stories and studied screenwriting. Took a screenwriting workshop with Robert McKee.

Engine Room
3D modeler
March 2008 - April

Took a low resolution passenger jet and modeled it to a high resolution, modeling panels, engines, lights, flaps, nuts and bolts as well as the cockpit and interior for a Lifetime Channel project.

Moving Pixels

December 2007 – March 2008

Created buildings with projection mapping as well as some of the hero buildings for two superbowl commercials for Nissan. Textured, animated and lit buildings attached to floating islands. Was responsible for some shots from begining to completion.
Built the dash of the Nissan Mureno with one other artist as well as engine parts and matched the car to live action plates.
I also worked on a Nascar commercial for Coors Light which involed animating cars driving down ski slopes, lighting , texturing, matching them to live action cars and taking shots from beginning to end.

Riot

Built the insides of a Nascar, cockpit, engine, wheels, gears, fans, tanks, dash, ect... to be used for revealing the car out of liquid in a Reelflow fluid simulation.
Built the texas motor speedway in its entierty to be used in a commercial for Target.

August 2007 – October

Created a photo real scene which included the modeling of various buildings, parking meters, café tables, curbs, lamp posts and other city ojbects to be used as set extentions and background replacements for a las Vegas housing development commercial.
Worked with a team of three people to build the Empire State Building under construction in the 1930’s. I took special care to make it authentic by modeling every detail from old photographs. Created cranes, walls, rivets, ropes, grain sacks, windows and many other objects to give it a level of extreme photo realism. We finnished with an organized 2.5 million polygon model.
Generalist – Did basic animation, lighting and texturing for various other projects with the company.

Asylum Visual Effects

July – August 2007

3D Modeling – Used Maya to model high resolution set extensions for National Treasure 2.
I built cave walls rock by rock, as well as modeled a temple with aged damage from falling debris over the years.
I was also tasked with building an Indiana Jones type platform trap made of interconnected pieces of engraved wood, which I matched from a hydraulic set piece in high resolution.

3D Modeling – Used camera mapping to create buildings, roads and set extensions for a Buick car commercial. Built five high resolution printers for a Lexmark commercial in five days.
R&D on modeling environments from 360 degree HDR images.

3D modeling – Used Maya to model and texture three buildings as part of an animated splash screen for Teamone-usa.com

3D modeling – Used Maya to model multiple city sets for Lincoln’s new line up of cars. Specialized in modeling the hero buildings and sidewalks from photos.
Used projection mapping for modeling and texturing

Worked with one other artist on a commercial for ArmorAll. I modeled their logo in its entirety so that he could animate it.

Lidar Services
3D Modeler
2003 – 2004

Used Maya to model set extensions, sets, architecture and props for various feature films. Modeled many buildings from scan data and took great care in accuracy.
Headed up the reference shoot on the Constantine Hell Freeway set, as well as led the team in modeling it to completion.
Built a tug boat for Lady Killers from a miniature.
Built hundreds of accurate models during my time there.
